The cons-test suite was a stand-alone test suite for the Cons software construction utility. The suite consists of a number of portable Perl scripts that test most of the features in Cons, some supporting Perl modules (including the Test::Cmd module), and a wrapper Perl script for executing the tests.

As of Cons version 2.0, the cons-test suite has been folded into the Cons development process, and an accompanying version of the cons tests is released each time a new version of Cons is released. Consequently, this stand-alone test suite is deprecated, and you should go to the page for Cons itself.

Purely for historical reasons, the older releases of the stand-alone cons-test suite are available.
